Guess what?

That’s what.

Yep, they’re here already.  I’m sure once they figured out these were being made for a “World Champ” my order was moved to the front of the line.  I packed them up last night, and they’re shipping out today.   It took a few hours to get ‘er done, but they will be in most folk’s hands before the hot month of August.

I got them loaded and ready for the USPS.  I’m glad I got a bunch of local orders and a box worth I can bring to ORAMM, or else I would be forced to make two trips.

Here’s what you’re getting:
keep in mind my flash did funny things to the photo

By the way ABYSSUS EST ALIUS BICYCLUS loosely translates to “Hell is other bicycles”.  Thought you should know.

And the flip side:

and the something extra I added to the final design:
feel free to leave your witty remarks in the comment section

The other surprise feature can be seen in the clicky-biggy mode of one of the other photos.

They turned out just how I wanted them.  I was afraid they would be a little too flashy, or perhaps have just a bit too much pink, but they’re just like the baby bear’s porridge… just right.  I want to send out a big thanks to all the folks who ordered one.  I’ll be able to race a shit ton of races and/or eat seven shit tons of cookies.  There will be Bad Idea Racing jerseys in five countries and close to twenty states, so according to my quick calculations and the latest Gallup poll I have more support (foreign and domestic) than our current president.

So, not only is ORAMM this weekend, the Wilderness 101 is going on, and some other race in the Great White North.  Nobody reminded me, but I found out that the 24 Hour Solo Worlds are this weekend. According to Matt Chaney’s blog
(you know, the one that looks like mine) he won’t be coming back to defend the SS title, thus continuing the long held tradition of the non-defense of the most prestigious “World’s” title in cycling, 24 Hour Solo Single Speed World Champion. Although it’s kinda sad, as I’m sure one of us woulda went back if they made it worth our time.  Fassbinder (2003 and first ever crowned SS Champ) AKA Dr Doom is coming out of hybernation and headed to Canmore to duke it out.  Will he be the first SS champ to take more than one title in a lifetime?  Kinda wierd to look back at the last five year’s worth of results and not see one name in the SS top three ever show up more than once.  Don’t see the same problem in the big boy class…  Speaking of which I wonder who among the gearheads is going to Worlds this year with Nationals coming up in one week?  I know Tinker’s coming back to the defend, so good luck oh dreaded one.  Who will be the big winner?  My money is on Stuart, but I’ll bet Stuart’s on the money yo.

Oh well.

Piss off, and see you Monday.

AWESOME Jerseys!! How did I miss you were doing them! Do you have any left? How much for one to be worn with pride in good old blighty? will you take blood in exchange for one if there isn’t enough money?

    Cheers,

SWEEEEET! I just go my frame back from getting repaired, and now this! Hopefully the smoke will be clearing here in Northern California, then all will be good in the bike world.

    BTW, I love the chip.

F’n nice jersey (a far cry from the hand cut sleeveless specialized jersey from days of yore). Even if my gut is no longer a large club fit, i will wear it like a champ; and it gives me more moto to get on the single speed that I just converted…yep I dusted off the ol’ litespeed and made it a SS. Maiden voyage should be this weekend. Good luck and see you in a few weeks…holla!
