Working on it…

I know, it’s probably been done before. I had to do it anyways. I am getting everything ready for the delivery of the Zion. I described the new bike on MTBR.com as a “Geo Metro Fast and Furious” build. I’m gonna have a $249 frame and a $75 fork built with high zoot parts and rolling on wheels that have a higher value than my 1987 Suzuki Samurai.

Since I am super anxious to get my “ride on” I already mounted up the front brake and aligned the caliper. Anything I can think of to speed things up Wednesday night I am doing ASAP.

I’m jonesin’ for a Thursday night ride for a couple of reasons. First of all I can’t wait to finally ride my own 29′er. Secondly I will get my first test of my new Nitehawk LED light. It seems plenty powerful, but the beam is pretty narrow. I’m not sure if that will be a problem as I tend to only ride my bike in one direction at a time. I’m gonna give it a little test this morning on my commute even though I know riding in the street does not equal riding in the woods.

Sorry that I am not gonna answer questions about the whole Badger thing. Public places aren’t a place to discuss personal business. Sure, I’ll tell you how many saddle sores I have at any given moment and whether or not I have pet names for them yet. That’s not personal. My crotch is public domain.
