More Worlds pics

Here’s some pics of the top three SS Worlds riders from the Lights and Motion guys (FYI: I was running their HID light)  Yeah, I was running the full Race Face Transrockies kit at night.   The chamois are to die for, and it is one of the few jerseys I own with the sleeves still intact.  Normally I eschew any formal full scary kit when riding.   Eccchhhh..

How did you like the Light&Motion lights? I run a Cateye Doubleshot for a helmet light and I’m looking for a good handlebar light. I know a lot of people are running only a helmet light but I’m kinda new at this night riding stuff and like theadded light right now.

When I first started 24 hour racing I ran a bar mount with a back up helmet light. I liked the bar mount because it helped with depth perception/shadows. When Lights and Motion sponsored me I ran a bar and helmet (halogens) because I had them. It was pretty sweet, but heavy. I now just prefer a helmet light when racing. It’s nice to see where you are going, and who needs depth perception anyways. If I were just going for a fun ride I would use both.

    hey

bill contacted me last week but I couldn’t make out his #. If you could pass on that I’m returning his call, or email me his number that would be amazing.

How about an overall sumary of all the races this year?
    Whatcha thought about it.
    Whatcha would change.
Bike setup - what sucked and what worked.
    Recommendations.

I’d really like to do 4 of the 6 ultramtb races next year. But, I need some real life info on which ones are worth it. What really rocks about them. What sucks at some of them.
    What works. etc…

(can you give some links to your detailed write up?)

    tks

    jac,
All my race reports are linked to the right, but perhaps I will talk about which ones I would repeat in the future.
