I’m just like you, and you, and you, and you…..

My wife told me about a guy she saw on TV coming out with a cookbook titled ” Beer, it’s not just for breakfast anymore”. I thought I was the wise-ass that coined the phrase perhaps, but after “googling” it I found out I am just an average thinking schmuck. There are no original ideas anymore, other than the whole “Snakes on a Plane” thing. Sheer genius.
I liked these also:
I guess I can let the cat outta the bag. I am working with Rob from Badger Cycles on getting me on a 29′er that suits my “hyper-monkey on a bike” riding style. He seems to have an excellent grasp on how to get me on big wheels without cramping my style. Paint choice will probably be the hardest thing I have to deal with. With a rainbow of colors at my disposal all I can think of is satin black with white panels. Like I said yesterday, rock and roll, metal, death, dark, scary. Black seems to fit the bill. It would be cool if I could have badger skulls painted on the bike. Not sure if that’s an option. I guess I better Sharpie “BADGER“ on my chest before any races next year just in case I need to finish topless.
Industry Nine will be doing some wheels up for this beast. Of course they will be pink and I chose to have them laced with Bonty rims. Kinda ironic that my Rig take-off wheels showed up yesterday. They will become my back up wheels I guess.
This does mean I am committed to making this 29′er thing work for me. I am confident when it is all said and done this bike will be sweeter than a bowl full of chocolate chip cookie dough.
Oh, I changed something on my sidebar (the list of shit on the right of your computer screeen). I got rid of all the links to my 2006 races (who wants to see outdated websites anyways), and added links to all my reports from my 2006 “race season”. Of course I usually drone on for days after the race is over the reports are generally the ones I wrote when I got home. If you want to see me ramble on for days after the fact just search my blog for it. Yeah, I still have to finish the 24 Hour Worlds, but we all know that race report will be dull, right?
